Surrey BDS show
A good Eureka day here because although the
pair came second again in the exercise vehicle class at least we got the
Osborne qualifier this time.
Congratulations though go to Luke Beech who
won the class driving Mr. and Mrs Marskell 's "Remier" using a
set of Tabe's black and white Friesian Harness.
Friesians in black and white harness in
first and second place!!.......... Whatever next!!!
Also Helen driving Anke had a good second in
pleasure driving class.
Excellent news to start the month. Tabe
plucked up the courage and asked Helen to marry him and fortunately
she agreed. The big day is September 23rd. 2011.
BDS show
We tried our hand in the country vehicle
class with the pair and had an honorable third.
Than in a very strong exercise vehicle class
(15 entries) the pair got second just missing out on the Osborne
qualifier.
We concluded the day with a very nice drive
past the Queen.
Knee useable again and off to the BDS West
Sussex show.
Tabe had a good second in a very
strong exercise vehicle class with Helen's Friesian Jonas just missing
out on the Osborne qualifier. Better luck next time!!
We had a nice but cold day at Royal Windsor
taking Jonas round the BDS drive.
Helen, driving Anke, took part in the
Surrey Trec.
A nice third in the overall horse class was
followed by a good win in the gamblers cones.
A bad start to the year as early in March Tabe
managed to break his kneecap after an argument with a horse where he
came of rather worse. Just a reminder to be more careful the next
time!!!!!!!
Because of this little mishap Tabe
missed out on the Ardingly Carriage Driving Fair show where he was
going to have a stand again
